Anyone know how to remove the antenna base? wanting to get it painted when I have the tailgate handle painted.

I just stuck a screw driver underneath of it and it popped off. I had to remove mine to tighten the screws after the antenna "whipped". Hit a low object and went flinging for a bit. I am going to do the same thing to mine this weekend.
