Well if you tell them you broke something going off road, I believe you will be SOL, regardless of the lift kit.

I haven't heard of any joints going out, have heard of the boots cracking though. I have a 2 inch kit on mine and have the same concerns. When I had it to a good frame and axle shop to have it aligned they took a look at the angle and said "that can't be good". So thinking of taking mine off. Will have to throw a cpl of fat girls in the back to level it then, will help with traction though

I am sitting on a 2 1/2 on my 2wd Supercab. I have not had the kit long, but I have not had problems as of yet.

I would be more concerned with a 4wd due to drive angles being changed (but it sure would be a VERY slight difference), but I am under the impression that if you are usually on the street (as I am), and you don't drive like you are running from the law, you will have no problems.

I have had the 2.5" autospring for about 5 months now, and have had no problems. I have used 4 wheel drive quite a few times and never had any noise, vibration, or any other unusual things happen. Truck acts like it doesnt have the lift, seems like it wants to be that way.

If you do offroad quite a bit, a spacer isn't the best option. Its not even close to being a good option. I had my tie rods go out because of my Daystar kit, well thats what my dealer believes. Oh well, they were replaced under warranty.

that is the problem. i don't want to be somewhere and break.we have a vacation place in idaho, so when we are there in the winter you pretty much run 4wd all the time. i don't know how mod friendly the dealerships are.easiest thing to do is take the kit off and deal with it looking like a stink bug.there will be donaho racing leveling kit for sale in the near future.
