I like this package as a whole, i wish there was one when i bought my xlt. However, if its ridiculously priced, i think there will be more negative than good out of it. should be between xlt and lariat 2wd's in pricing, IMO

One might ask why Ford is going in the dumper. Well, it's because instead of using their brains to innovate new technology or make new vehicles they just mix and match the same parts on different vehicles and create new packages of the same vehicles.

i dont think its necessarily that, i think its more of ford just wanting to offer something new to its customers. Ford is going in the tank because they keep producing so many vehicles, but people cant keep buying that many vehicles a year(i would think). They need to scale back production a little and concentrate more on options, customer service, quality, etc. The ford 500 is a perfect example. It is a bland car. This fx2 is a little spice in the f150 market, as i think it beats the xlt all day. I like painted bumpers and all the options are something most would try to buy( like the fx4 rims and exhaust).
