Undercover Update

Well, those of you that remember an earlier post, I had an issue with the Undercover that I got. The corners were trimmed out excessively. Mike at Undercover was great, they worked hard to correct the problem. Truck Shop USA in Stevens Point is another story, from what I gather, they refused to do the warranty work. Long story short, Mike at Undercover worked at getting another shop to do it, but they all refused because they did not make the sale. Mike ended up shipping it to where I worked because I needed a business address for the shipping. The new cover is just the way it is suppose to be. A big thumbs up to the people at Undercover.

And a big thumbs down to the guys at Truck Shop USA in Stevens Point, WI for doing absolutely nothing in the way of customer service.........makes me think they might have been the ones that did the trimming and didn't want that cover to get back to the manufactuer........they will never get my business again. The thing that really ticks me off is that I could of saved about $80 if I had ordered it off the internet, but I didn't want to have to deal with problems if they arose.........I'd leave those to the Shop........ya....right.

Anyway, I highly recommend Undercover, not only for the cover, but for the people that work there.

All's well that ends well brother, and I'm glad you finally got it worked out! Did you get the new one with the new locks and LED light? Regardless, let's see some pics of how it should look!

I spoke to david at under cover, e-mailed pics and he is going to replace mine as well. the place where I bought mine said no problem with the exchange as neither me no the dealer will be out any $$$ for the exchange. undercover customer service rocks , this is the pic I sent, as you can see R and L are not the same.

They shipped it directly from Undercover, it has the new locks and the light. I took the old cover off and drove my truck to work, when the new cover came in I just popped it on. Because of the lack of customer service from where I bought it, I believe Undercover had to pick up a larger shipping tab, I think if they could have gone through a dealer they could of had one delivered from a local distributor. I guess they have no use for the old cover, at least nothing worth the shipping cost to have it sent back. They just wanted a one foot square, where the serial number is located, cut out and shipped back to them (just to make sure the cover was destroyed). It is on saw horses in my garage right now, seems like a shame to cut it up........but I'll get that done today.
Another plus, seems like I have spares for all the hardware.

I never had that problem but the few times I've called UC....they were exceptional...I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.

Glad to see you got your problem fixed.
