Hey what do i have to do with the hood release for it to work with a 06 bumper

 

Hey titans, I screwed mine into one of the holes on the front plastic bumper cover. When the hood is open and you look down on the bumper cover, you will see a series of tabs, each with a hole in it, pointing towards the radiator. I put my hood release lever in that tab hole. It's certainly not factory, but it's pretty solid in there and it works. It functions just fine. You can't see it anyway and didn't want to incur anymore expense getting all the correct pieces.
