Sorry NASSTY for being a bit off topic.

Does anyone know if the LT fender flares come painted? I can't remember and did a search and still couldn't find the answer.

I heard you can buy them painted from Ford.I heard they cost somewhere around $500 a set painted. I read this info on the internet so it must be true.

I checked out that seller. Right now he seems to only have white and AZ beige. And he is selling them all individually $49 ea for the rears and 100ea for the fronts. Maybe he will do a discount if you want the set??

I got mine from him for $246 shipped. Thats $49 ea plus shipping I suppose but I was afraid of not getting all four in AZ Biege if I bid individually.

Looks great! I recently bought a set off ebay too, but from a different seller. He has auctions every once in a while for them. I got mine for $215 shipped, but they are like yours, black. I have them sitting in storage and will get them painted red during the first part of May when I get back home. I'll have a set of factory fx4 flares that I'll have to figure out what to do with.

Does anyone actually know if the rear moldings on a flareside are different then the styleside? I would rather buy Lariat take offs that are already smooth then working the heck out of the gritty FX4 ones. I wish Lariets came in flaresides.

So you guys are just screwing them on from underneath the wheel well and not drilling holes in the side of the fenders? How well do they hold on? I would think that they wouldnt be pulled tight against the body because they are so flimsy.

Question

NASSTY,

Hello, I also am looking into adding some OEM fender flares to my 2004 Supercrew. Your truck looks awesome. One thing that definately caught my eye was the grill that is on your truck. I am guessing your truck came like that when you bought it because it's a special edition F150? I can't get over how good the grille looks. It almost looks stock, but in my opinion looks even better than the stock HD grille that comes on the Harley trucks. I looks like it has more bars than the Harley Grill but yet less than the Carriage Works grilles. I tried doing some research but all I could discover is that it is possibly plastic instead of the aluminum. Plastic would be a lot lighter, and would definately looke more OEM. I would really appreciate any info you can give me on the grilles that is on your truck. Maybe even some close up pictures if it wouldnt be too much trouble. Thank you very much for your time, I would definately appreciate any help you can give me.
