Magnaflow SISO INstalled and I love it!!

I installed (actually my cousin and a friend did as I had shoulder surgery) my MagnaFlow SISO on my 2006 this evening and I must say I LIKE IT! Not to loud, very very little drone, knocked 7/10's off my 0-60 with Edge on Level 2. Also, averaged 15.6 mpg on the way to his house today (120miles 1 way), 18.1 on the way home.... I'm sold on it and can't wait till my Volant CAI shows up Monday!

I think I am going to trade up for your setup, 7 f'in 10ths, you 0-60'd more than once right? Were these taken in the same temperature? That's great. What is your 0-60 now?

as close as possible as far as conditions go.. Level 2 with stock exhaust was consistant 8.7-.8.8. With MF I was 8.0-8.1. 2006 Scab, 5.4, 3.55 4x4...

I'm not complaining , especially when truck was stock, nothing at all done I was 9.0-9.2. Temperature ranges have been 40-50 when I did my testing.

Man those 3.55's really are hurting you, very nice cluster swap btw! I was thinking of getting those USpeedo gauges a while back.

well, i didn't buy the truck for drag racing or anything, so i'll live with the gears. I just didn't want 13mpg.... you'll never get a Scab 4x4 going 0-60 in 6 seconds, so i'll live with the 7's that i'm sure i'll get once I get the Volant and run level 3.. What's everyone else getting for 0-60 times? One guy i talked to was getting 6.9 with a 4x2 lariat with same mods.

I know a few 4x4 Supercrews that are in the high 6's. I hit high 6's at one time or another but that was in 40 degree weather and I've only done that a few times. For some reason I can't hit even close to that lately.

Do you have any vibrations from the SI/SO? I installed mine along with an Edge and Volant. I have a very annoying vibration around 2000-2300RPMs. If I accelerate gradually it's fine. But if I need to punch it (to pass someone for instance) it shakes the dash.

Someone mentioned that it might be the Volant. Next weekend I’m going to return the intake to stock to test that out.

none at all. Everything is super tight with lots of clearance as well. My Volant should be here tomorrow, so i'll let you know how that changes things. Did you add an additional mount bolt on your air box like I have seen others do?

My best is 7.3 in a XLT 4.2 Screw
Edge 3
3.55
Banks and AF1.
I think I could do better with 4.10's.

You have the 4.2L in a Supercrew? A 7.3 second 0-60 with 3.55's is awesome. I hope you meant 4x2 and not 4.2. What is the cheapest place to get the Magnaflow SISO Muffler only?

No, I just used what came with the kit. Maybe that'll help.

Let me know how it goes. I'm going to troubleshoot it Saturday too.

It's amazing how much better the Maggie will let it vent too... Honestly, I noticed an immediate improvement over stock when I installed my Maggie SISO -- the pedal felt much more responsive!!

I have been trying to do some 0-60 run times with my truck. My only problem is that I can't ge the truck to hook up in 2wd. I have tryed 4 different times to do runs and on 4 different roads. Every single time same result, I just burn the tires end up leaving posi black marks. Tomorrow I and going to do a run or two in 4wd and see what happens.

I have no idea but I just called a muffler shop because I want the same thing. $180 total for the muffler and install. Not sure if that's good or bad.
