Grille Question???
Grille Question???
I am looking for a replacement grille or a billet grille, but dont want to butcher up my existing grille. I have been looking on eBay, but how good are those grilles there selling for under 100 bucks? I am sorry if this topic has been covered before...
You can put any grill you want in there, without butchering it.
The grill and the surround separate from each other, without butchering.
No butchering needed.
Just watch out for the 1 or 2 that say you must "Cut Out" the center section.........but you can easily see them because they show the plastic edge around the inside edge of the surround.

Be careful! I just bought one on ebay, and it looked like the Carriage Works full replacement grille. So I got it, went through the steps of installing it, which required me to chop up my stock grille, and realized it wasnt the same thing. After weeks of emailing the company back and forth, they finally agreed to let me return it for a refund. (And I realized later that they stole the picture of the grille from Carriage Works' website).
The auction said it was full replacement and there would be no signs of my stock grille when the installation was complete. Oh no....I could still see the stock grille, and it looked nothing like it did in the picture.
If you are going to get a grille, spend a few extra bucks and get a trusted name like Carriage Works.

I would spend the extra and get a full replacement grill, from a reputable company.

I paid a buddy to install it....$20....BUT I say keep your money and install it your self after seeing him do it....wow was it ever easy....takes about a hour to hour and half.....most likely around a hour...I cant remember where it was bought because it was a present but it was a place on the internet....the type of grill I believe if called a PHAT Billet grill....the billet lines are a bit thicker then the average ones I just wanted to go for that beefy looking grill in the front other than everyother thin billet in town If i find out where I get it i'll get back to you a.s.a.p

Polished upper and lower Carriage Works. You don't have to use the Blue Oval, if you don't want it there.
Check the F150 store for Billet Grilles by Carriage Works.
