Should I get chrome or black nerf bars on my truck? Or should I even get them at all? I am thinking about puting the LT handles on so there will be some chrome there and I have a grille and chrome wheels and headlights that I might get harley ones. Other than that, the rest is black. Im trying to balance out the chrome and black so what do you think?

 

Black for sure! I have a 2006, black w/dk shadow grey with Ford satin black wrinkle finish bars. Chrome only looks good on the XLT w/chrome package IMO.

 

Got a guy a few streets down with a Black '05 FX4 Flareside. He has the Westin Ultimate Bullbar with PIA 550, a Snugtop SnugLid SL, tinted windows and LT handles.

He just got some Chrome Westins Nerf Bars put on last week. I ran into him at the local Shell and checked out his ride as we were shooting the sheet. It looked like the nerf bars added that finish.

It looks real sweet . . . . no, it looks awesome!

I would say black as you don't have any other chrome on the truck.

 

My vote is for chrome. Think it looks great on black, plus you've got other chrome on your truck.

 

+1 for chrome. wheels are chrome, grill is chrome, and then the LTs eventually. also, keep in mind that most of the black running boards they sell are aluminized... so theyll rust out after a couple years and look like crud if they get all chipped up. SS bars that are chromed wont do that for ya. black and chrome go together like peas and carrots here's a really crappy photochop but you can get the idea...

i dunno guys, i think the pink with polka dots looks pretty hot...

 

Go chrome to balance out the black. Your wheels are chrome, so I think that would look the best.
