Changing Limited Slip Clutchpacks

Can anyone explain how to change these and whether or not there is a place I can purchase these clutchpacks or do you purchase an entire new LS carrier. Sorry about all the questions lately, but they're all something I plan to do very soon. As I've mentioned before, my to do list are gears ($1200), winch ($1k for hidden) or truetrac ($500) and those figures are semi-rough. I will probably do a couple of those but I can't buy all three, I just can't bring myself to purchase it all. The gears are probably last on my list as of now, but that may change when I actually mount the 37" grapplers (possibly in the morning)

Sorry, no help on your clutch pack issue... if it were me, I'd swap it out for an aftermarket unit instead. I'd go with the truetrac or a complete detroit locker, I hear they have very nice street manners, only audible around a corner. As for your list of goodies, they all look nice.. but I think your gears should be your first priority. They will help you onroad and off (big time), and will take the added strain off of your drivetrain components from the massive tires. My 2 cents... Good luck finishing your lift man, I've been lurking and reading the entire way.

I don't know anything about the clutch packs, but I would go with gears and a locker. The winch would be cool, but your truck will be so heavy that you'd probably rip whatever you connect to out of the ground before you get unstuck. Sure you can use it to pull other people out, but you could do that with a $30 strap too.

Thanks, as for the aftermarket unit I'm a little weary on price. My factory traclok worked very well for a factory limited slip despite what many say. If it were really cheap to have the packs changed why not. I want a truetrac in the front as the back (yeah it's a little cheap) has limited slip, even though it's wearing bad. The reason for the truetrac in the front is that is where all my weight is (engine) and in mud that will dig the most. The winch might be what I have to get as nobody I am around weighs more than I, everyone has a hell of a time getting me out stock, with an added few hundred pounds it's going to be horrible. I'm sure I'll want to regear after mounting the grapps so no worries.

Gears and aftermarket locker if it was me. How often are you going to be using a winch. I doubt you will be doing the extreme stuff in that size of a truck. I think a lot of people by a winch for looks.
