The FX4 flares (and any OEM flare) have clips that go into the body all along the fender. There are holes in the fender for this on Lariats and FX4's. <removed before rockpick catches me!!!!>

They are already gone man, didn't take long for that to happen!! First come first serve I guess....
but in your case, it may be best to go with some of those very close to OEM looking aftermarket paintable ones thet don't require holes.
