Going to the track

Hey guys this weekend im going to the dragstrip to play a little bit. I'm going to race my 01 GSXR 1000, but I was also going to make a few passes in my truck. Any guess as to what it will run. It's a 4.6 regular cab STX. Mods are below.

Low 16's... hopefully better. Not sure about the 4.6L.

I have an 05 STX 4.6 extended cab. ran a 17. at 80 mph. Cool air intake, flomaster exhaust, and xcal 2 programer. Let me know how you do.

How in the hell can you ride a gsxr1000 and drive a 4.6 stx? Of course I know nothing about the 4.6, but I do know the gsxr. Used to have a 750 with programmer and full yosh system. Just looked at you mods. Let me know how it does.

4.6, I bet you dread getting back in your truck Only kidding, but what was the reason for going with the 4.6, especially if you planned on modding.

My guess is the price. STX's only come in 4.6 I believe and they are significantly cheaper than any other trim level.

I bet you're in the 15s. The gears make a big difference.

I'd say high 15's given your mods and since you have the lightest of the F-150's. My recent Hayabusa dyno'd at 168rwhp with a full Yosh system and Power Commander. I ripped off 10.9's. The bike definitely had more in it, but I'm not a pro racer.

Thanks guys for all the responses. The reason I went with the 4.6 is because of price. I work for Ford so I got a really good deal on the truck. Got it $19400 taxes and all. I have plenty of toys to go fast on. 01 GSXR 1000(149.7rwh), super charged LT1 Trans AM, and an 06 KFX 400 4-wheeler w/mods. So having an extremely fast truck wasn't that big of deal to me. If it was I would have gotten a lightening. I told myself I wouldn't do anything to the truck at first, but couldn't resist. The mods I have done certainly make it more fun to drive. If you guys want to check out my other vehicles hit up my myspace. It's myspace.com/powerhousephil. Later guys!

The 1999 Lightning which was the first year for the last body style Lightning had 360HP and 440FT.LB. and they ran low 14's stock. Running 15's w/ a 4.6L STX may be a little optimistic, but I hope it does!
