Fx4 compared to normal 4x4

Does the suspension on a fx4 packaged f150 sit higher than a normal 4x4 f150. I saw a fx4 today and i swear it looks about 2" higher than my crewcab 4x4. Is it just me or is the fx4 higher?

Was it also a crew cab? Obviously the reae end is going to be lower on crew cabs than it is on scabs and regular cabs.

Nope the heights are the same between all the 4X4's if they have the same cab... different cabs means different weights so that could come into play. I've noticed different colors seem to look higher and the trucks with different color factory fender flares seem to look bigger to me. Tire size is the only thing that could effect the height from the factory on the same cab configuration truck. The spring rates are not all EXACTLY the same and I've heard some people say their trucks are higher than others without and mods done, but I've yet to see more than 1/4" +/- in either direction.

17 inch tires = 31.1 x 10
18 inch tires = 32.1 x 10.8
20 inch tires = 31.9 x 10.8

It also may have had a leveling kit on it as well, that will make up for your 2" then.

My FX4 SCrew looks like it's about 2 inches taller when parked next to the regular 4X4 SCrews. It might just be my rims are 18" and theirs are 17".

If they have 17's and you have 18's you will only be 1/2" taller.

There are pretty big differences between trucks heights from the factory, believe it or not.

What does that have to do with anything?
