Another Tuner/Programmer Question!!
Another Tuner/Programmer Question!!
First off, i'm new to the site and want to say thanks to everyone on here! It's a pleasure to be a part of such a DieHard group of BlueOval'ers! It's also nice to be able to get real world input and advice on things before you buy them based on everyone elses experiences with the products, good or bad. So thanks guys.....here goes....
I have a 2006 5.4 XLT Scab 4x4, 3.55..... ordered a Magnaflow exhaust, will add a Volant CAI as well. Need suggestions on Programmers/tuners. I've heard a lot about the Troyer stuff and it sounds great, but don't want to wait a month or two. So what's the second best choice? I don't race it, don't mud bog it, just drive it and want a little more go. 20x8.5 MB Bruzers with Pirelli 275/55/20's as it sees more pavement then dirt. I'm debating between the Edge Evolution, SuperChips , and the Diablo... Any advice would be great and what can I expect? Thanks in advance, Ron

I also got my xcal2 tuned by mike now i can spin my 285/50/20's (with the smaller 4.6l)from a stand still and the shifting is a million times better. Its only taking Troyer like 21 days know if thats still a long wait you could buy a xcal2 from a different tuner that might have it ready faster.
