Skyjacker 3" lift for 2wd
Wow this is funny. Anyways yes the kit is not 'crap' its actually very well made. If you want 3" of lift and dont want to spend $1500+ on a 6" system this is for you. YES it is better than adding plastic spacers or whatever they are made of. The Skyjacker kit is a complete front strut replacement, coil and shock. The upper a-arm will be close to the strut until you get an alignment done, then it evens out nicely. You can fit up to 35" tires with this lift also. I had EA 187 wheels and 295/70/17 Nitto's on the truck for quite some time and it worked out perfectly. I installed the kit completely myself in under 4 hours with some help. That was transfering from a lowered suspension to a lifted suspension (I had the McGaughy's 3/4??). All in all its very easy, especially for the rear where all it is is an add-a-leaf. I had to travel to WPB to use a buddies air tools thats why i need someone local with tools to help out, if not we need to head on over to a mechanic. That is also why i only want $200. The kit has only 8k miles on it. Comes with the rear Skyjacker shocks also. For $200 + the cost of installation your getting a lot more for the money than a spacer lift IMO. I havent seen it cheaper than $600 to be honest with you. I think somewhere for $550 + SHIPPING!
Best of luck to all.
I dont understand why i would go through the hassle of taking it off and THEN PACKAGING IT ALL to ship it for about $100, when i have two local buyers interested. One a good friend and the other medik13. Its enough of a hassle finding someone to do the work, but then to ship this bulky gear is a whole other PITA. The picture is a pretty good description of what i would feel like had i had to package it all up and ship it out to you. Enjoy your night my friend.
Forgot to mention also i have a bunch of pics over on FTW and also right here on my gallery!

SVTErick,
Do you think 315/70R17's on 17x9 w/ 5"BS would fit w/ the 3" SkyJacker lift?
Here's for comparison:
315/70R17 = 34.4 x 12.4
295/70R17 = 33.3 x 11.6
Also, the Eagle's had a 4.625BS compared to the 5" on my wheels.

Honestly i wouldnt do it. Less backspacing is more practical the bigger tire size you go. With your tire size, 34.4, i would go with a wheel with around 4.5" of backspacing. Just my personal opinion. Check out the pics in my gallery also.

Hey if your going to go by a picture then go ahead and pass on it. Its not my truck and definately something aint right there. Anyways im extremely happy with my kit. Like i said before if you dont want to get this kit just shell out the extra $1000 and get the 6" kit. Or spend $200 and get some spacers. Good luck.
