Talking My FX4 & a Chrysler 300M on the highway...

I was driving down the highway tonight when I come up on a 300m (all pimped out with 22's I think?). He was on the fastlane going about 60mph on a 75, this guy speeds up to the car next to him so I can't pass him and he never moves over...this goes on for about a mile..... Finally the car next to him on the slowlane exits on the off ramp, as the car starts to exit this guy punches it and is about 4-5 car lengths in front of me...I can smell his exhaust fumes ..Im like well I have all this $$$ dumped in my truck and this guys a @sshole so lets see To make a long story short at about 115mph i'm a good 4-5 cars in front of him when I let off the gas...This was way to easy, it must have had a V6???

Nice job man. The blocking technique he pulled on you would have had me fuming... stuff like that gives me road rage.

V6... 'eh still a nice kill.

BTW I don't think I've ever complimented you about your truck. I think it looks very clean... nothing overkill or gawdy about it. Have you considered tinting the windows?

Thanks Brother Whatever it was, it sure was nice blowing his doors off Im sure if it had a Hemi it would had been different like Kickass said... But we are talking a 4x4 truck here on 20's w/AT tires so its still fun.

BTW..Yes I will be tinting the windows soon...

F.Y.I. They are not called 300M's anymore, they are just 300's. But, if you run across one with a small "c" by the 300 emblem, be careful cause those (300 c) have the hemi. Also the 300c's have a hemi badge on the fenders between the wheelwell and door.

It had to have been a V6. I went to Houston a couple of weeks ago and rented a Hemi 300M for the week. Besides being banned from future company car rental driving, it was a FREAKIN MONSTER. I was like WOAH. You could litlely hold the brake down, take of ESP, and stomp on it. It would litterally FILL the interior with tire smoke. It was a fun week needless to say.

If anyone is looking at buying a used rental car and it happens to be in Houston is Blue and has a golf ball dent on the dead center of the top, right at the wind shield. I would strongly advise against this purchase.

I would also suggest that you stay away from any White AWD 300c from the SFO area. That car had a VERY unhappy 3 days in FEB-06. I could never get it to drift the ramp from 101-S to CA-237 and lord knows I tried.

Then again, after this many years of working for companies in the valley, you might be well served to stay away from the whole lot, never can tell if it is the Camary that my co worker kept putting the parking brake on, at freeway speeds. By time I got back to the rental return at Hertz, the parking didn't work anymore

Was it the newer style 300??

300m's came with the 3.5L (high output) engine.
300c's have the hemi.

Nice kill either way!
