magnaflow di/do installed

just had it installed today.i like it.its a little louder than stock but not much at all.i had 2 rear magnaflow tips installed as well.seems to have more power down low than it did before.i like it also becuase when driving along it dosent drone and you really cant tell its any different than stock.down low it sound alot deeper and alot meaner.

i didnt relize that the 05 only has 2 cats, when i went in i was asking to have the 2 rears cats removed like father ford did,but hell ,i didnt have them to start with.

its much louder than stock... i think it sounds sweet.. I told my friend to drive it the other day.. he drove it away from my apartment and got on it a little.. sounds awesome!

It should get louder after a couple of hundred miles, mine did. Also, it is louder behind it than you probably realize.

I have a Magnaflow catback on my 04 and I don't think it drones at all. My wife doens't complain and it doesn't keep my 1 year old from sleeping. Some people say that Magnaflows drone but it is nothing compared to my brothers Flowmaster. Only time I notice it is when I have the cruise set and I am going up a hill but it is nothing that bothers me.

Sweet...same as what i have. Does your muffler look like this? It will change in sound alot. I went from true dual from the cats back with straigh pipes and added the DI/DO muffler and at first it sounded like it was stock. Extremely quiet. But after about 2 weeks i noticed the sound changed and got much louder. I love the way it sounds now...not too loud and yet loud enough.

I have DI/DO Magnaflow with the tips coming out in front of the passenger side rear tire, and its just not loud enough....But i didn't want to go with Flowmaster....It has a nice sound, but only when i'm on it....Anyone have a better set up for more sound when idle or low speeds???
