True-Flow intake

Anybody seen, use or have any info on the True-Flow intake? My local line-x dealer has a little info station set up in the show room with a video about it. Sounds like a good thing. It uses the exsisting filter box with a differnet filter and replaces the bulky resivour with a metal tube( unlike the cheap plastic most aftermarket intakes use). The metal tube connects to the factory peice that goes into the fire wall. The claim is that this set up puts more cold air in than other intakes because it doesnt have an open filter in the engine compartment that sucks in hot engine air. The price is 250. Any info?

I cant really do any justice for the thing trying to explain anymore than i did. However it does sound good in there advertisement. It is more than just a drop in style though. With all these mod happy F150 owners im sure someone has one or knows someone.

I've got the True Flow intake in my truck. I'd have to say that I am a little disapointed in it . I don't know how it would stack up to other types of intakes but I couldn't tell any differance in performance. From the video that they have it does look like the filter does a great job of filtering dirt and stuff though. I definality wouldn't pay 250.00 for it though. I got lucky and found one of fordtruckworld.com for 120.00. If you have anymore questions just let me know

I have one as well. I bought it off ebay new for $170.00. With my exhaust and tuner, I assume it helps, but not sure. I did notice a slight change in exhaust noise when I put it on.
