i havea 04 with the 4.6
i have installed a banks exhaust which i awesome, a dialblo tuner also great and an S&B cai ... anyone install a throttle body spacer and if so does it make a difference or is it a waste?

I dont have one personally but do know someone who had one. I guy i work with put it on an 04 fx4. It made a ridiculous whistle and i dont think it made a difference. I drove his truck. He ended up taking it off and selling it on ebay. All the info i researched is against them. But for only a hundred dollars i guess my co-worker thought it was worth a try. I am running a k&n intake. Its made a significant difference. However i am gonna switch to a true flow soon. My local line-x dealer has little info video on them and it sounds pretty good. Think i outta put a thread out to see if anybody is running one of these. Well thats my 2 cents.

I had it on for about 2 months, it was a waste of money, no performance increase and made a very annoying whistling noise that sounded like a broken supercharger, don't buy one save the $100.

 

They only work on carbeurators and throttle body injection. I have one on my S-10 2.8 TBI. It made a noticeable difference, but nothing dramatic. No whistle.
