how ya guys doin?
im new to this site, my dad just purchased a 2006 f 150 xlt crew cab 4x4 with the 5.4 and some other extras, i was looking for the introductions forum, couldnt find it tho, anyways, got lotta plans for it soon (aftermarket alarm, 24s) it has the keypad entry on the drivers door, and im wondering if anyone has any info if i get an aftermarket compustar 2 way alarm (currently have one on my car n those r by far the best alarms in my opinion) anybody know if the keyless entry pad will still function? as i already stated im new to this forum, so im not sure if i am in the correct section! if anyone can help me out with this i appreciate it greatly!

 

welcome to the site man- you'll find a ton of info here, and hopefully you can provide some too. basic questions can be solved with the 'search' function... TONS of info and ways to spend money! anything else, ask away!...compustar- i dont have the alarm, but i do have a compustar remote start on my truck, and yes, the factory keypad still works
