Ok, so I have a Silver Metallic FX4...no secret there. I have chrome 951 Motos. Also, I'm adding some silver PTM Lariat fender flares and chrome front/rear bumpers in the next week or 2. I will also be taking off the FX4 decal. Can you imagine what it looks like so far?

Anyway, what do you guys think about the door handles? Either the LT handles PTM w/ chrome handle or the AMI/Putco solid billet chrome buckets and handles. Just to make sure...not the covers that tape on...complete solid billet assemblies.

What you think?

p.s. I would of bought a Lariat, if Ford offered it in Silver Metallic.

The LT handles. but why are you betraying the FX4 for the lariat look???

 

If I had a Charcoal Gray or Black FX4, I wouldn't be doing this. I just like the way the chrome looks on the silver truck.

 

Here you go dude....FX4 wo decal, PTM flares & LT handles. I like your idea minus the chrome bumpers.

p.s. I would of still bought the FX4 even if they offered the Lariat in silver.

 

Another vote for the LT handles as long as you PTM the bucket part. IMO the full chrome bucket and handle are too much chrome in the wrong place. The LT handle will match your polished step bars nicely.

As for the bumpers, my preference is for the painted bumpers, (obviously by my pic). Base model XL trucks have chrome bumpers.

 

Yeah Tuff, I've seen your truck...looks great!

My 2000 SCab was the same color and had chrome bumpers...I loved that truck. Anyway, this is why I'm spending the money...cause its the way I want it. LOL

 

The step bars will eventually be coming off too. Just as soon as I can afford the AMP power steps.

A funny thing about the chrome bumpers...when I put them up for trade...no one wanted to trade. Hmmm...

Definitely go with the LT handles they look sweeeet on the silver trucks.

They do come with the chrome strap and painted already as long as Lincoln makes the LT in your color which they do since yours is silver.

All 4 handles and the tailgate will run you around $250.00
