You can see mine on the driver's side just above the registration and inspection stickers. Works fine, its out of the way, and not stuck to the tint on my eyebrow strip.

Clever place I thought of is behind the mirror on the windshield (which is where they ask you to put it in NY)

Has anyone tried mounting it under the hood with 3M HD Velcro. The sheetmetal is pretty thin. I suspect they could get a read from there. I am going to give that a try if my new truck will ever get here. (two weeks from shipment notice and counting)

I'm not sure if this qualifies as clever, but:

I can barely see it from the driver's seat. Who cares if the passenger has to look at it. Either the *****ty view or cough up some toll money.

ps - I love it when the wife ain't here, looking over my shoulder and reading what I post.
