My first 0-60......and kill

Well I was sitting at a red light and figured....why not. Well it was a 7.09. It was pretty cool, especially because there was a kid in a Acura RSX, that met up with me at the next light and was totally stunned. He started revving his little car and I took him off the line he was 2 car lenghts at 70, than I had to slow down to make my turn to my street, I was running level 3 on the edge with no changes but to tire size and gear...

Performance for the acura.

Acceleration
0-30 mph : 3.1 sec.
0-60 mph : 7.1 sec

Looks like it should have been close.

Was it a RSX or a RSX type S? There is a 40 horsepower difference added in with the factor of driving skill involved with a 6 speed. Basically a type S should smoke you.

I could not tell, he was behind me..

It was an automatic, that is about all I could tell, except I could hear his engine whining like a little 4-banger.

Even a HORRIBLE driver in the Type S should've dusted you... we'll assume the regular.

Seroiusly though, I can see how you guys really get into the racing thing... I had a similar kill, albeit not huge, versus a Ridgeline. He ran around me while going down a straight stretch like he was 'showing off'... I wasn't paying any attention. We came to the next light and we were side by side; I punched it, he punched it. At around 70, we both backed off. I was about two lengths in front of him. The thing that bothers me -- I'm pretty sure he was bone stock and, of course, I was 93 Octane tuned with Maggie and AF1. Stock vs. Stock, I'm not sure we'd had the same outcome.

I must say, it was quite fun being able to dust that 'thing' though.

Nice kill I don't do much stop light racing in my truck. It's still stock and not even broken in yet.But I can't stand ricers and I have a couple BigUglyImportCarKillers to blow the doors off any dumb ricers who don't know any better. I can't wait to mod my truck.

Seeing as how the Type S only comes in a 6 speed you raced a 140 horsepower car.

I would love to be able to dust rice burners but I don't think my mods are quite up to par yet though. I hopefully could take a base RSX though. I did pull a 0-60 under 7 the other day.

Nice kill

The only thing my truck kills is gophers on the highway.

900lbs of tools and equipment in the bed for work all the time doesn't do anything for performance, the edge just evens it out so it feels as fast as stock, can't wait for holidays.
