So far I love this thing. Mounting it where I did, It very easy to play around with. I have chossen the green backlight color as it matches nicley!

Thats why I havent gotten satelite yet. I just don't know where to mount the receiver.

what happens when you want to sit a third person in the middle? do you place the XM some other place?

well, I dont know enough people for that to ever be aproblem...
however, yes the reciver can be moved and the sit flipped up, it just would not be as "user freindly"

Looks good .... one friendly word of warning though, be careful. With a mounting location like that, you're going to be looking down frequently to surf or to see song/artist names.

I had my Pioneer XM modulated setup in my 2001 KR mounted in a similar place:



... and almost had SEVERAL rear-end'ers that would've been MY fault solely.

Just a friendly word...

thanks RP, you are right, I have found myself doing that. but now that Iam aware of it, I can corect for that, so i dont have an opps!!

Doesnt the roady come with a remote??? I use my remote for my skyfi2 all the time, and it is just as "user friendly" as controlling it from the unit itself...

no, to get the remote you have to buy the home kit, $40 bucks or somthin, it is on my long list though..
