leveling kit and tires

Im new here and have a couple of questions I have a 2004 4x4 and was wondering that if I install a 2" leveling kit if I could run 305/70/17 wrangler mtr on 17x9 moto metal wheels without any problems

yes, it'll work. i saw a guy at my local tire shop yesterday running those exact same michelins. they are a pretty nice looking tire. those 305's really filled up the wheel wells nicely.

I do not know if it will work with aftermarket wheels but it should with stock wheels. Aftermarket usually changes backspacing so you may have rubbing issues.

I agree. It will depend on the backspacing of the wheels. Remember, wheel width and backspacing are as critical to fitment as the size of the tire itself.

the wheels have have 4.5 " backspacing

i have them wheels with 33x12.5 super swamper truxxus m/t's and they fit fine with my 2 inch auto spring how much bigger are the 305 MTR's.

I have 305/70R17 MTR's with 951's they rub a little but not bad at all trimming will take care of it lot's of pic's in my gallery
