Need the "wow" factor
Need the "wow" factor
Alright guys...yeah my truck looks and sounds good but i really want to start turning some heads. I just dont know if i should go bling with the chrome wheels and tires or go higher?? I dont have the money needed as of now but im not sure what to save up for. The only thing keeping me from not lifting is price and the thought of parking in tight places. What do you suggest? go with wheels now and just wait for lift next year? or what The truck is nice and clean but conservative if you know what i mean.

Well your truck is a 4x4 so lifting is a very viable option and I am sure the lifted guys will tell you that they get a lot of WOWs. I can ashure you if you want to turn heads (and I mean a lot of heads) a very clean truck on a set of big chrome wheels will do it. However I don't think a set of 20s will get very many WOWs now a days...everybody and their momma has 20s. So you got to go big if you expect to get noticed....and BIG doesnt come cheap. With that said a lift and wheels and tires will cost about the same as a set of quality 24s and tires. In your case since the truck is a 4x4 I would go with the lift...if it was a 2wd I don't think it should be a question as to wich way you should go, but thats just my opinion.
Wheels are the biggest WOW factor on any car or truck. A lift or bigger wheels will look good depending on your preference and budget. I definitly get a lot of head turns in my truck. Just yesterday I was at a gas station and some lady says "excuse me" and i though she was going to say liek you gas is done or sonething but she says "I really like your wheels" Im like "thanks" then she said a few more stuff but new wheeld will really set off your truck.
If your on a budget go with a leveling kit and wheels/tires. You could always spring for the lift in a couple of years when your tires wear out. But, if your positive you want a full lift/and or got the cash your probably better off going that route first. I've got a 2.5 autospring and 305/55/20 toyos open country's and so far I'm happy with this setup
Good luck!
Good luck!
go with the lift! save up about 5g's and BAMMM! instant head turner! i get tons of comments on my truck and not to mention the girls love the truck a lot better also!
