Hey everyone, just signed up not to long ago. i got a 06 supercab recently and i have noticed a rattle noise coming from the center of the truck. I have looked under it to see if there is anything loose but cant seem to find anything. Also it only happens at about 2100 2200 rpms. Let me know if you can think of something i might be overlooking.

 

If this were an older truck, I would say it was a heat shield rattle...but, seeing as it's fairly new, I would take it back to the dealer...as long as it's repeatable let them figure it out and fix it under warrenty..

figured it out. it happened to be the skid plate was rugging against the exhaust but one during 2k rpms. thanks for the welcome. My upcoming project will be the lt handles as soon as i get the part numbers .
