Body Side Molding
Body Side Molding
The sides of my truck are pretty plain, and I was thinking that a black body side molding, similar to what my Dodge had would look good and add some protection against parking lot idiots.
Anybody add molding on the doors and/or sides of the bed?

Side Molding
For $25 I got got some 3/4" wide x 1/2" thick stuff from a body shop supply. I mounted it just above the horizontal channel on the door because it was not thick enough to put in the channel ant have it stick out beyond that deep channel. The ridge just above the channel is the highest spot on the door and that is where you will get the dings. Looks like a thick black line and looks good to me. Over 2 years and holding fine with no dings. Search this site - others have found better looking and wider moldings and have posted posted real good pictures. I probably would have used the same type if I had known their source.
