Congrats on the new truck! Enjoy it.
My 06 is 11 days old now and received its first dent Saturday at the darn Wal Mart! While I was in getting some rubber floor mats for a trip to play in the snow someone intentionally rammed a cart right into the drivers side Scab door. I parked way out in the north 40 and next to an island all by myself. The wind was blowing the other direction and there were no other vehicles anywhere near me. I talked with the management who said I could not view the security tapes but after a call to their main office the store is now calling me back. I hope I can get them to pay for a dent buster to fix the door.
Needless to say I'm still ticked, especially by the way the local manager treated me. They weren't even courteous. I understand they can't let people see the tapes but they didn't have to go into a spiel about filing a police report and going to court and having the tapes subponead and on and on. Sounded like they were more interested in protecting the crooks and not their good customers.

DesertRat,
Sorry to hear about the dent in your new truck. You'd think that the store would be more willing to help you out and find the person that did it. I just hope that I can keep mine dent free.
davidmf,
You've got mail.

Pictures of the new truck will be coming tonight after work and more down the road as accessories get bought and put on.

AZDesertRat, that store is responsible for their carts in the parking lot. If your vehicle is damaged because of one of their carts, then you have the upper hand. If they continue not to cooperate, file a police report.

They go on the speil to scare you off because they know they are responsible. 99% of the time it works and people walk away ticked off. It's up to you to force the issue.

Thanks!
Now I just wish I could get my gallery to display the correct main photo instead of my traded in 2004.

Nice, that thing is huge, the extra 12" of length really makes it look imposing.

Nice, but for me

I don't think I'll ever get another beige interior. Way too hard to keep clean.

Make it black for me, from now on.

Like the size of the rig, though. Wait'l they make a supercrew with an 8' bed.

Speedwolf,

I see you traded in your 2004 F150. Did you purchase or lease your last truck? I just got in an accident and like many of us in here who love our trucks, its definately not the same after an accident knowing something is not original.

Im debating on getting my truck back and going straight to the dealership to trade in my truck. How was your trade? Was it a lease return or did you buy it and have a balance on your truck still?

Im definately looking at getting a 06 SCREW with a 6.5FT Bed...basically my same truck now, only a SCREW this time...FX4 again!!!

I leased my last truck and was able to get out of the lease a few months early with no problems. I'm leasing this truck as well, but will probably be buying it at the end of the lease this time. I would have bought my last truck (the 04), but I found that I was really wanting to get into a SuperCrew and my last one didn't have the limited slip. So far, I love it! Now I just need to start on the mods!

Beautiful truck. Good luck with it. I get reamed all the time for typing what I just typed, but I really do enjoy looking at the pics people post of their trucks.

Most of the stores around here have little signs by the cart return stations that say the store is not responsible for damage or theft of your vehicle.
