Air bags for towing on a lowered F-150?

Can this be done? I've been to two places in Vegas today and gotten the negative nod from both of them about installing either Ride Rite or Firestone airbags on my F-150 because it has the Roush lowered leaf springs. The leaf springs lowered the rear 3", so it is now 1" lower than a 2wd in the rear. Am I SOL for having air bags for towing now?

What I need them for is towing a 7X14 utility trailer filled with all our crap (beds, clothes, couch etc.) to Alaska in May. It'll be a pretty heavy load, and I'd like to give the truck a little help in the rear, especially since I have weaker springs in there now. Any other options out there for me?

I own a business and work my tail off for everything I have. Basically I took a big risk buying the division of the company that I worked for and I'm enjoying the rewards of turning it into a success.

I'd try to do that eventually, but my luck sucks and it would backfire.

I too was concerned about towing with my ground force 2/4 drop but I tried it anyway, well I was pleasently surprised that the rear dropped less than 1" with my trailer hooked up. I currently tow a 25' pontoon boat that weighs roughly 3500 pounds boat/motor not including the trailer. The trailer is a 33' tandem axel trailer with surge brakes and full length bunks for the pontoons so this rig sits pretty high. The only problem I am having is the 3.55 gears are to steep for this much weight so I am just waiting to add the 4.56 gears in to have a little fun on the street and to help with towing.
