Fuel line connection replacment???

Hello folks. I am in the middle of replacing the fuel pump and filter on my 05 Lariat. Has ~ 60k miles. I must have gotten some really bad gas since the filter on the bottom of the pump was very dirty, and almost has a slug type feel to it.

Anyway, I broke one of the connections that connect to the top of the fuel pump. It was one of the smaller ones, yellow colored. It is a 2 piece type connection that has a smaller center piece, that gets pushed in, and a larger outer piece that gets pulled out. Pop...line comes off. I didn't know that at the time, though.

No I am in a dilema. I don't see how using normal line and clamps would be a problem, but if anyone has any insight on my situation, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks folks.
Dom.
