Finally had nice enough weather to install my LT handles today and let me tell you I love em. Being that my truck is silver the first thing I saw everytime I looked at it were those ugly black door handles and it drove me crazy. Ordered em up and followed Ram SS/T's directions in one of his old threads and had em done in an hour. Big thanks there Ram SS/T. I know alot of guys have been ordering these or thinking about ordering them and I think it's the best $110 bucks you'll spend.

I was thinking about putting the LT chrome pillar covers too but I'm not sure if that would be too much silver and chrome???? What do you guys think?

If somebody could photoshop them on that would be great and I'd be forever indebted to them!

 

Ya they come exactly as you see them.

But if you use those part numbers they are for the rear doors of a supercrew because I opted to not go with the keypad or door locks. So if you want the ones with the keypad or locks use the search function and look for threads on the subject by either asinatra or Ram SS/T

 

The chrome pillar covers are ricey. Look cheesy in my opinion. Your truck looks great just the way it is. I saw a black LT that had the chrome junk on it and 22s. I would be embarrassed to ride in it.

 

So, how do you get in your truck if/when the battery dies?

The same way the guys with shaved handles do. SLIMJIM, I'm actually pretty good with it. Plus I have Ford Roadside assistance..paid for it might as well use it. I hate the look of the keypad and have seen a few other guys use the rears on the front and I really like it.

 

Ya I pretty much agree but on some trucks they look really good. Rafa26's truck looks sweet with them but then I saw a tan LT the other day and they looked horrible. I'll probably just keep it the way it is for now.

 

The handles look great Where did you get them from, for that price ? I've got a 05 screw and every where that I've checked is in excess of $350 not including the tailgate handle.

 

I got em from Fordparts.com and the rear handles were $47.15ea. and the tailgate was $25.06. It shouldn't cost you more than $225.00 for all 4 doors and the tailgate. $350 is outrageous.

Looks good! I think you should get the stripes down the hood and on top the cab and then get a cover for the bed and get them down that and down the tailgate! That'd look sweet!

 

Thanks gman.. I thought about the chrome ones like you have but opted to go with the LT's instead becasue I was worried about bubbling with the chrome ones. Sweet truck by the way

It is the drivers door that puts the price up, it comes with the keyless entry pad attached. It is double the price of the other doors.
