Lifted Truck Height

Hey,
I posted this message in Suspension Forum and thought i would post here too.

I have a 2004 F150 FX4 and am looking into lifting it and still want to fit it in my garage. The garage door is 7ft(84") tall. I think stock height is around 75". I would like to lift it 6" and put 35's on. Do you think it would fit? Does anybody have a lift on their Truck that parks it in the garage? If so, how tall is your Garage and what size lift and tires do you have? Thanks in advance for you help I appreciate it.

i have 3" body plus 2" leveling with 35" nitto mud grapplers which makes the truck 81.5" tall to the tallest point.

The tallest point of your truck, being the tip of your antenna??

I've got the setup you are referring to (6" lift/35" tires). I also have a standard 7' tall garage door opening and have no trouble at all getting into my garage. Now, I did go with a shorty antenna because I got tired of hearing the stock one drag the garage door as I was driving into it, but other than that you should have about 3-4" to spare. It will scare the crap out of you the first few times you drive into it, but you eventually get over it

Thank you guys for the responses. I am glad to hear it should fit okay. I would hate to spend all that money and time to get it home and not have it fit. dirtworm I bet you were nervous pulling into the garage the first time. I think I may need a new pair of underware after that. I'll have my wife watch as I pull into the garage just to make sure.
