Need Help/Opinions Fast!!!

Hi I am purchasing my second f150. First was a 97 ext. cab xlt loved it until it got totaled. Now I am driving an Infiniti G35 and its just not working for me. So I am trading it in for a new F150. This is my dilemma I am in between trucks. Please help he chose or at least let me know what you would do.

TRUCK (A):2005 Lariat Supercab , 22k miles, Floor console, Red ext w/ tan leather.

TRUCK (B):2004 Lariat Supercab 33K miles Floor Console, Black ext w/ tan leather and has a power moon roof and reverse sensors. Truck (B) is $1000 more than Truck (A).

Basically my question to you all is 10k miles and $1,000 and One year worth a moon roof and reverse sensors.

Both are 5.4L

Which one drives better and which color do you like. All things equal, I would prefer the 2005 over 2004. Why is it less?

Take the 05. The 04s started the new style and had more problems.

Truck A

Go with the one with lower miles. You can add a sunroof and reverse sensors for $1000 or less, and you will still have 10K less miles, which means more warranty! Buying a used car with 14K left on the warranty is really good!! With the other you only have 3K left and that will go away in no time.

id go with the 05 as well-the headaches averted are worth the roof/sensors ---(you can put in your own sensors) Welcome to the site

Take the 05, it has less miles, which means more miles left on the factory warranty incase anything goes wrong.

Remember the 04 was the first year of the new models and had alot of bugs that needed working out so be careful and drive it drive it drive it if you really like that one.

BlueJay is right it's probably all gonna come down to which color you like better. I would go with the '05

Good luck

honestly i can't stand red vehicles and black is my number one choice. i would be concerned with the 04 having some of the bugs found in that production year. but i'm young and dumb so the hell with it i would gett the color i wanted and moonroofs are sweet!

Every vehicle I have ever had that had a moonroof in it I think I opened it once or twice as long as I owned the vehicle. The reverse sensors are helpful with this truck, however.

Long story short -- I'd take the lower mileage, newer truck!

Truck A definitely. Power roof, 900-1000 dollars, reverse sensors, 300-400 dollars, factory warranty and NOT being the first model year, PRICELESS! lol seriously tho, i much prefer the black and tan color, but for the mileage, and the warranty, truck A wins

I am going to go for TRUCK (a). Even though I like black trucks better and it would be nice to have a moonroof. Truck (a) is just the more logical answer. Thanks for you help. I should have it by the end of the day or tomorrow morning.

Go for the 05. A lot of the bugs that were in the 04 were worked out with the 05s.

Well I'm gonna differ....

The 04 is 2 years old and has 33k miles averaging 16.5k miles per year.
The 05 is 1 year old and had 22k averaging 22k per year.

If you like the sunroof and reverse sensor you'll spend a good chunk of cash putting in these factory looking (ie clean) options.

I have an 04 and never have had 1 problem. The differences between the 04 and 05 are neglible. If you like the features enough to put them in later get them now and just buy an extended warranty.

my .02 anyway.

Never mind....looks like you decided....
