Question about Autospring + another lift

Can I add the auto spring 1.5 to the skyjacker 3" kit? Here's what the skyjacker kit includes

This 3" suspension kit replaces the ample struts with the higher quality Platinum Series Mono-Tube Gas shocks and Softride® coils. This surprisingly simple yet completely durable suspension package requires no modifications to the factory rack and pinion assembly or drive shafts.

Key Features:

• Platinum Series Shock and Coil Assembly
• New Softride® Front Coil Springs
• Softride® Rear Add-A-Leafs
• Improved Wheel Travel & Handling Characteristics
• Clears 33's

I'd do a 2 or 3 inch body lift but my access to a shop just got very limited ( Divorce ) I wanna clear 33's on 20" rims with no problems with rubbing. And I wanna be in the Sky. I miss my old truck on 35's

It just won't work, the angles of everything will be WAY too much. The CV axles would snap once you even tried to throw it in 4wd regardless of 4wd it'd be too much. If you're going to add a spacer to any kit, the kit HAS to have a drop bracket and new spindles. I hope this helps.

Sure you can do it, if you want to replace your upper controll arms every thousand miles... Why dont you just GET A REAL LIFT...

Get a real lift ????? you have a 6" fabtech plus a 2.5 procomp spacer. Whats the difference??

Oh and a 6" fabtech is how much ?? 2 G's? this way is under a $1000.00

I have a House note, Truck note, Private school tuition for son, Child Support. ETC. Being a Single dad puts a damper on the extra cash

Because with the rancho, and all the 6 in lifts you actually add subframe and longer steering knucles which keep all the factory geometry the same then add a spacer to it only throughs the geometry of a little just like it would like installing it to a stock truck. With the skyjacker 3" lift it replaces the front strut which just increase the angles on your control arms and adding another spacer to this would put way to much stress on your upper control arms, and ball joint and tie rod ends. In other words the skyjacker 3" lift is just a replacement strut with an added spacer.

Alright man, ill help you out here...

Here is how your trucks front suspension will look with jut the skyjacker 3" lift - the CV:

This is how it will look with a 6" lift.. BIG DIFFERENCE EH?

Look at how close the upper control arm is to the coil in this picture... Imagine adding a spacer ontop of that.. Your upper control arm would be in constant contact with your coil..

When you do a real suspension lift, it comes wit a "drop down bracket.. (picture below)

I was able to add my 2.5" spacer because the fabtech lift maintains the factory geometry, therefore adding the coil spacer to my lift would be like adding a coil space to my stock truck...

Before 2.5 Spacer

After Spacer

Hope this helps you out bud.. BTW didnt mean to sound like an A-HOLE...

Yes, just a little bit, I like the stance it has though... Did you have a chance to get those measurements??

No, I haven't had a chance to take those measurements. Been ripping and running enjoying my week off from work (spring break). Also it's been drizzling down here and such. I'll try tomorrow when I actually have a break from work or grad school. I wanted to ask you what size block do you have in the rear?
