2005 F-150 SCREW / 2900 Miles / LEMON

So I had my fuel pump replaced at 1400 miles because of starting problems. Now my truck is in the shop again and it sounds like a coil problem. Truck started shaking vigurously at 55-65, slowed down problem went away. No more then 45 seconds later shaking again and I slowed down to 35, engine light then came on. Drove it straight to the dealer, heavy white smoke out the exhaust, shaking, and no accelleration what so ever. My truck does not even have 3000 miles on it, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do. I have this strange feeling I have a lemon. The only other problem I've had is the astray rattling. Dealer is replacing it free. Has anyone else had this problem at such an early stage of a trucks life?

Dealer just called, replaced (3) plugs & (3) Injectors, says everything is working great now. Wonderful, that means I only have (5) more to fail in the near future. I haven't even towed my boat with this truck yet, can't wait the first time out to have the transmission go out at 4500 miles.

I guess todays service moves me 1 day closer to : http://www.state.ia.us/government/ag/lemonlaw.html
(I'm now up to 7 days of not being able to use my truck)

I had a major problem with mine at 1600 miles. Limped to the dealer and they replaced the throttle body. I now have 22,180 on it, not another problem. Best driving truck I have ever owned.

Why are so many people so quick to assume thier truck is a lemon and want a mfy buyback etc. Its unfortunate but sometimes things just go bad. Just be happy your dealer is doing thier best at making it right and getting your truck up and running again at no cost to you.

It's hard not to assume the worst! When you spend $30+k for something, you can't imagine nothing but the best. Within the first month I had a problem. Within the 2nd month I had another problem. These are not typical problems. I understand **** happens, but when none of your other family and friends with the same truck are having or had similar problems, you can't help but think this worst. Plus you have all the Chevy folks laughing at you! Don't get me wrong, I love my truck and I would buy another one regardless of my current situation!
