Fabtech Arghh!!!

they are going to make me hurt someone. I just returned the phone call to my installer. stated that 1 strut is missing from my box. the truck would of been done at 12:30 but I have to wait till tomorrow for that 1 freaking piece to come in. i could just cry like a baby since I cant get to my darn truck. sad part about it is the truck is sitting up there with 3 rims and tires while the other is not. any chance is there any places in Houston that i can maybe call and locate it myself?

I went and saw my truck. I could of cried seeing it up on that lift thing and not being able to take it home. I actually scronged up the money to get 35s and saw them mounted on my new wheels. My truck is going to look so darn nice. All together I purchased Fabtech 6inch, some pro comp wheels with the beadlock, new pro comp 35s on top of my Daystar spacer. Can't wait to hit the PAVEMENT.

Since you have a 2wd, with the daystar spacer, your truck will sit at the same height that a 4x4 with a 6" lift would, just so you know...

I thought 2wd and 4wd trucks sat the same height lifted since essentially the stock parts where ripped out and only sitting on the same height of lift kit? Heard that from a few places.

Not trying to just argue with you but could those cross members be like that because one is a performance kit while the other is a basic kit?

Nope, why would the performance kit have a different crossmember?? The performance kit has better shocks. Anyway, once you get yours done post some pics, and we can verify this..

I'm so frustrated right now. The strut that was missing came in as well as a 5 inch block for the rear. New problem has arisen! The U bolts for the rear are to short. All Out Off Road is getting some fabricated at a metal place that deals with u bolts and springs in the morning. Also they say they are cutting some tie rods down some which I geuss are to long. The good thing about the day is the truck is installed and everything. Just sits about 3 inches higher in the front due to the Fabtech look plus my Daystar spacer. I was riding down the street and actually saw them getting it aligned at this tire place. I was like holy crap thats my truck right there. After waiting over a hour at the place thinking that I could atleast take it home for the night I figured I would just jet. My guy there told me the guy was driving it back to the store in route. So I left in my gf's GT which actually got Flowmasters installed there today low and behold my truck was coming down the road looking massive as hell. My GF says omg there goes your truck it looks huge i wont be able to get in it. i just started laughing. I already know its going to be nice riding around with 8.5 inches of lift. Also glad I scrounged up 800 bucks to get the 35s installed. I already have interest for my 33s. Also TXF150 my crossmember on my truck looks like this.

What do you guys think about those beadlock rings that you can put on your rims.

Yes man i'm serious as a heart attack. Hopefully they have got the new U Bolts fabricated by now. If only I didn't have that darn spacer would i be finished. I still rather have the higher look with the spacer then without it. I have my batteries ready in my digital camera to take some snap shots away.
