New Mods - Pics

I've done a few mods to the truck and finally cleaned her up. I took a few pics so let me know what you think. I think my next move is to tint the front windows. I dont really know what I'm doing so I hope the link works.

Nice truck...what were the mods?? I assume tires and wheels.

I just tinted my front windows. One think to look out for, actually two:
Ford front windows have a defect in them, meaning that there is a slight "valley" running top to bottom in the center of the window. The guy that did my tint forgot about that and had to redo it. The tint bubbled out. What he did was place the tint on the OUTSIDE of the window and use a heat gun to shrink that vertical strip. The other thing is, the installer will "fold" down the inner rubber...My window would not roll up with that rubber folded down...I had to use a plasic putty knife and GENTLY unfold that rubber.

Something to keep in mind.

Truck looks great !

Any issues with only a 2" lift and 35's ? I'm getting ready to put on the same tire and rim set up with the AS 2.5" lift, just wandering what, if any problems to expect.

35's with aftermarket wheels and only a 2'' autospring? damn that looks awesome!! i love DSG trucks. I may be a little biased though. any rubbing issues? i was gonna go with 33's on 17 x 8 wheels but now you've got me thinking.......

gorgeous truck man!

I was initially going to go with 33's also, but I really wanted 35's so I figured I would atleast try them. After getting them I could not be happier. I did not have to do any trimming and they do not rub at all. The ONE time that they have rubbed I had the truck at full turn and went over a speed bump, but that was it. If you have any more questions or want some pics of the tires let me know.
