Power Steering Dye?

I thought my truck was leaking power steering fluid... The reservoir was slightly below the mid level mark (04 Lariat). Took it to the dealer's they put a green dye in it and told me to drive it for a while. I put 300 miles on it, took it back, but they can find no evidence of a leak. I looked in the reservoir now and it is all green, is this dye harmless? Will it always be in there, or eventually work itsself out? Also they topped off the level to the max mark, should it be adjusted to the mid?

The dye is harmless, doesn't matter whether it's in there or not. And fluid at the mid level isn't necessarily a leak. I added a bit to my truck to bring it back up to the mid level, and my truck doesn't leak a drop.
