I too was torn between the Undercover and Duracover. I finally decided on the Duracover (which looks great by the way!) $624 installed here in Maryland

 

That's good to hear..........I took a chance that it will be as nice as it looks in the pics. I am getting the Duracover installed at 4:00 today. You got a better price than me by $30........Damn.

Anyway, what do you think of it? Does it seem well made, durable, strong?

My major concern was the fit on the edges (good) and I was very impressed with the mounting system. Fit and finish is nice and the center location of the lock works for me. Lid seems solid.

 

Well, things didn't go so good. I just got back fom the place I was purchasing from and........well, it's not on my truck. The guys worked for 2-1/2 hours, but just couldn't get it to fit right. It would sit a good 1/2"-1" too high in the front and there was no way to adjust it because there is no udjustment for the heighth in the front and the frame the hinges attach to was down tight to the bedcaps. Looked horribleand it was easy to see that the rubber weather stripping wasn't even close to sealing in front along the sides. I asked them what they could do and they agreed that they needed to send it back. He told me he would not order another one. So...........looks like I am getting the Undercover. I realy did like the looks of it though........just wish it would of fit. Oh well, I liked the Undercover too, just wanted the center latching system though.

 

I'm sorry to hear the Duracover did not work out for you. Was the place that you ordered it from, Truck Shop USA in Stevens Point or Toys for Trucks in Neenah? How much are you getting the Undercover for? I'm probably leaning towards the Undercover. It seems that nearly everyone that has one loves it. You'll have to let us know how your Undercover experience goes when it comes in and you get it installed.

 

I am working with Truck Shop USA .........$625 installed for the Undercover. I have an appointment to get that installed Wed. afternoon. I'll let you know how that goes.

 

You won't be dissapointed with the undercover. It lines up perfectly with the rail caps on the box. It is the most well fit tonneau I looked at.
