How can i get that light to turn off. Its been on ever since i removed the cats. I need to get rid of it ASAP without a tuner. Is there a bulb in there i can paint?

Get some 02 simulators I'm sure thats whats setting off the cel

 

Um, I'd try reinstalling the converters.

And FYI, you can't just pull the bulb or paint over it......that is one thing that they check is that the bulb works key on engine off, the self test of the bulb must work for it to pass..... You can clear the code at advance auto (maybe), and the readiness codes will not be available and it will not pass inspection until they are completed, and part of the readiness checks is checking the status of the cats, so the light will come back on! O2 simulators or reinstall the cats.......or get a tuner and have the check turned off.

 

No emissions in Florida. Just sick of seeing the dumb light after i removed my catalytics a year back...

I took mine off, and I don't have a light. Might be something else.

 

02 simulators are what you have to do. When I removed the precats on my Contour I made some and I never got a cel.

 

Get the 02 sims there only 60 bucks.
