Well 297 miles and I did my first mod today! It was so quiet I couldn't stand it so I had a Magnaflow 12256 4x8x18 installed with a chrome tip. Its still a little quieter than I expected but not bad at all. I will say Ford was serious when they installed that monstrous boat anchor of muffler it came with. I have seen semi trucks with smaller mufflers! If nothing else it ought to get better mileage just by shedding 100 lbs of muffler. $140 installed with 3 nice hangers so no chance of vibration. I also stopped to get the 2" drop shackles at Streetbeat Customs ($74.15+tax) but they would not match the $65 shipped and no tax prices I have seen elsewhere so they just lost my business.Guess I'll order them online and wait to install.

 

My truck was scheduled to be built on 3/13. How long should it take to be delivered after that point? My delivery point is about 300 miles away from mfg point.
