I am trying to update my edge since they have a new update. I have never updated before since i just got it last week. I down loaded the lightning software. I went and installed the drivers through the start menu, edge product and intstall drivers and its said it was successful. I can seem to get my lightning software to recognize it when it is connected. i did a search on this and i tried everything anyone has said about this in the past, any help appreciated.
also i did return the truck to stock.

 

There is a README document in your evolution folder. READ IT! It's the best explanation of what you are screwing up. Seriously, read it and 10 minutes later you are up and running. You are likely installing the drivers wrong..at least that is what many of us did.

i have done that about 10 times now and it still shows disconnected at the bottom of my window. i re downloaded the software and everything still no luck i have tried every usb port the ones on the front and the ones on the back still no luck.

 

Call tech support, they get paid to walk you through this. I'm a computer savvy guy, but installing the drivers was a problem for me too. Probably because of my firewall. I just recently figured out how to get updates without dropping my firewall.
