Installing Autospring tommorow...got a question.

For those of you who installed a Autospring spacer. Did you find it necessary to remove the lower 30mm lower strut nut? I read somewhere that you can just take out the top and swing it towards you and then just install the AS without taking the whole strut out. Thanks in advance for the help.

No. Not enough room. I thought about it, but after getting into it, that bolt has to come out. You can barely get it tipped out to bolt the spacer on the top of the coil, but then you can't get it back in. The additional 1.5-1.75 inches of length just kills that idea. Good luck.

There is no way you can swing the top of the strut out. There is 3 studs on top of the coilover assy that go thru the upper frame mount. You will have to remove the lower bolt and the 3 top nuts and swing the bottom out first.

I thought that mine would have just barely cleared, but the problem is getting it back in. I may be wrong because I did not even try.

I tried while installing my 2" spacers, didn't work.
