DynaMat or equilavent?
DynaMat or equilavent?
With intake an exhaust upgrades, my truck is starting to get loud...
I just redid my exhaust and now at certain RPMs, I can see my rearview mirror vibrate. (Another thread)
Anyone used any of the dynaMat products or equilavent products?
How well do they work?
If I just added a pad to my floor and to the rear wall of the cab, would I notice a difference?
How hard is it to install?
Tips?
I have a regular cab 2004 F150..
Any/All help is MUCH appreciated.

is my link on putting in neoprene. That shows you the inside of the doors, etc.
The Dynamat etc. is pretty good for the high and mid range sound control.
Watch out for smell. Dynamat Xtremen, Raammat BXT have no smell.
The paint on stuff (edead V3 is the cheapest usually) should be fine. I would figure two plus gallons for a regular cab. That's the rear doors, the front doors, three coats each, a coat on the inside of the door skins, thus four coats in each door. Get some neoprene or something to cover the big holes in the doors.
You will still want to put something like carpet liner on the plastic door panels. Ford used about one square foot on STX trucks, about two on FX4 trucks on each front door. There was none in my STX rear doors.
I have yet to pull my under the rear window panel. I expect to put one or two layers of neoprene and two layers of carpet filler back there.
The carpet comes up rather easily at the back, but you have to disconect the battery, pull the three seats (12 bolts, three or four harnesses) plus the two side runners and the kick covers, to get the carpet out if you go that far.
