KW-ip500 adapter/location ideas for ipod?

Well I picked up a Kenwood DDX7017 and the KCA-ipod adapter and I was trying to get some idea's where I could put(stash) my ipod.
I was thinking about having the wire run thru my flow thru console and plug my ipod in inside my center armrest bin so its out of sight/out of mind. Has anyone done this or maybe show some pics of some other good locations.
I have a few days before it all gets put in so I thought I would do my homework now.
BTW maybe I should get a rear camera installed while I'm at it?
Thanks all

Stash it in the glove box. It's easy to run a wire into there.

Got the 7017 and ipod adapter installed tonight. Ran the wire into the center armrest bin. Out of site and easier to get to to disconnect to take along with then the glovebox.
Now i just have to read the manual on the Kenwood 7017 tomorrow and get used to that.
