I crashed....ARGH!!!

Well...I got in an accident yesterday. It hailed on my way to work and some cars in front of me started spinning on the freeway. I basically tried avoiding it and instead of the brakes working, the whole truck decided to slide. When turning the wheel like you would normally to avoid something in front of you, my truck just decided to keep going and I ended up falling off the freeway onto a street...see pics.

Doesnt look bad, but its basically F&*$ed up left, right and front. Since I went through a load of bushes, they scratched it up...I hate aftermarket paint jobs and will probably move on to a Super Crew once this gets out of the shop.

Im trying to have the shop change all parts on the front to a 2006 Front End w/ Harley Davidson Lights too.

Pics are bad...cell phone photos. The freeway is on top, I landed where it is now. The crazy thing is...my suspension is all good. Seems to be at least. Cut the fence, backed out and realized that everything was normal...steering wheel was straight, alignment was good...its great having a truck. If it was a Nissan or Toyota, guaranteed some suspension damage. I fell off the freeway at about 40mph...slid through the bushes and stopped. Sucks.

Really sorry to hear about this. Look into compensation for resale value.

Sorry to hear about your truck.

I know it seems bad now, but look at the britght side....maybe you'll be getting a the whole new Harley front end or maybe even a new SuperCrew.

I wish you luck through the process.

That sucks man!

Today I almost landed in the ditch. Roads were icy......
Started to fish tail everywhere and I think my heart hit the windsheild.
Thank goodness no idea was coming the other way.

It doesnt look so bad in these pics...maybe when I go to the shop, Ill take some real close-ups to show some damage.

Quote was just a little around 9k to repair. New bed, New tonneau, repaint everything, front end...etc.

This sucks, but Ill be back in action soon enough. I havent fully decided if Ill trade this in or sell it. I do want a Super Crew...just not sure yet. We'll see when it gets out.

*** See the top of the pic where its basically the horizon...I was up there...came down diagnally (near the trees on the left). For some reason it doesnt look too high in these pics, but I drove by it again and couldnt believe it.
