Ground clearance with 2" AS ?

I'v searched the archives and found some information, however can some one answer this.
How much ground clearance was gained by installing a 2" AS with factory tires(275/70/18) on an FX4. measured from the lowest center portion near the front of the truck?
How much was gained by adding the BFG 285/65/18 to factory 18"wheels, or some other wheel/tire combo using the 2" AS.
so I guess I'm really asking some one to measure, and possibly post a pick.
I've seen a lot of wheel well measurement pic's but no under carrage measurement pic's
maybe these answers will convince or help others to decide
thanks

There is no ground clearance gain from stock with just a coil spacer. In order to gain ground clearance, you need bigger tires not coil spacers. Although with coil spacers you can fit 2" bigger tires without trimming, giving you 1" more ground clearance. Comprende?

Bigblack if your truck is still in the current configuration (sig pic) with the 2"AS and factory tires could you take a measurment at the lowest point from the ground in the front. I think there will be some, maybe small, increase
thanks

pictures taken at same zoom, and distance... my adjustment seems to be about a 3" rise on the front...(off my 2.5" autospring)

I think he means gaining clearance at the lower valance of the front bumper. This clearance means a great deal when off-roading. By adding the spacer you are gaining clearance there, and your angle of approach capability becomes greater, which allows you to keep your bumper on.

I have the exact model and setup and gained 1 1/4 inches of clearance WRT the valance. Your approach angle will benefit greatly.
