Help!

How do you get those plastic tube things out of the seat back? The ones that the headrest goes into. I'm trying to get them out so I can put my leather seat covers on.

This is how I did it on the front seats to run my wire for my HR Monitors. I am guessing they are the same for the back HRs. (never mind I readd your post wrong....you are talking about the front seats. The directions below will work)

There is a little locking tab down inside the tube that pops out and locks it in place. You will have to take a hooked tool and pull it in to unlock it and at the same time pull the tube up. You can also just break the lock off (thats what I did) and pull it out. Look down into the tube and you will see what I am talking about.

No problem...I think I was the first person to ever take them out and nobody I talked to (including the Ford place) new how to get them out. It took me several hours to figure it out.
