Magnaflow Exhaust vote

Ive decided to go with a Magnaflow exhaust, but I can't decide between the SISO dumped behind the rear wheel like this one

or the SISO dumped before the rear tire, like this one

Whats everyones opinion?

Before the rear tire. Like in the 2nd picture. But this is just my opinion you should really choose.

Im leaning towards the second one, but I dont know why they charge so much more for that kit, when there is less piping? Keep the opinions coming, thanks guys.

I would go for the SI/SO. I have it on my truck (16612) and it is the best sounding exhaust I've had on this truck. I've had Flowmaster and IMCO as well if you're wondering. The SI/DO in front of the tire looks sweet but it costs a lot more for less pipe, and the best performance gains are seen when sticking with a SI/SO setup.

definately magnaflow... I went the easy clean route and dumped at the axle... Only bought the muffler (alum.) so I only spent 120 for muffler and install.... I like the look of the 2nd pic tho!!

I dont think it is gets any dirtier then a exit behind the rear wheel. I had a Lightning and liked the setup so I went with that for my 05 FX4. And sooooo many people have split rear on trucks its a nice change. My 2 pennise of course.

Its kind of nice having the more direct route also. No pipes going up over and around the spare and over the hills and through the woods to grandmas house. One again just my opinion (disclaimer). What ever tickles your fancy though.

Yep. And for this reason I'm swapping mine for a SIDO straight out the back.

RP I would have thought, actually I was hoping, that you'd have a process to keep that 4" chrome tip clean and easy to keep clean.
